ABOUT FMS TRAINING
COURSE INFORMATION
The goal is continuing education and training technicians to keep up with the industry standards and new braking systems.
4-Hour Classroom Training
We offer a 4-hour classroom training includes Air Brake Theory, Operation and Troubleshooting. DOT Regulations, Air Disk Operation, Out-of-Service Criteria and Federal Inspection will also be covered.
Hands-On Training
In addition to the classroom training, we also offer a hands-on training course that includes proper installation and adjustment of brakes, slack adjusters, wheel bearings, seals, cam shafts and maxi-chambers.
All students receive an Air Brake Handbook and Certificate of Training upon course completion.
Training courses can be tailored to your organization’s needs and can be taught on-site at your location.

With over 38 years of experience, Bill has worked for several trucking companies, run his own shop for 30+ years and served in the United States Army as a diesel mechanic.
